PLANET ‘Industry Standard’ Nutrient Management software

PLANET has been developed by ADAS for the routine field-level planning and recording of fertiliser and manure use based on RB209 Fertiliser Recommendations, and as a compliance tool for the Nitrate Vulnerable Zone regulations.

First released in 2005, version 3 is now being developed, which will also cover Scotland.

Given recent large rises in fertiliser prices and increasing environmental legislation, accurate nutrient management planning has never been more important.
