BCMS launch telephone service

A 24-hour self service phone option available to farmers without computers or high speed internet access has been launched by BCMS.

This follows on-going work by the NFU with regard to enabling cattle producers who don’t have access to CTS online - or have a slow internet system - the opportunity to report cattle movements/deaths and births in a timely and efficient way.

To use the CTS Self Service Line, you need to have a CPH number registered on the Cattle Tracing System (CTS) along with the telephone number that you will be calling from.  If you have changed your telephone number or you want to add other numbers to call from, you can phone the British BCMS helpline number.

If you are phoning from a withheld telephone number you will need to enter 1470 before the Self Service Line number.  To use the service call 0845 011 1212.
